Independent Eatery
House of Koko is a celebrated independent coffee and brunch venue in Leeds, with two vibrant locations in Chapel Allerton and Oakwood, the latter opening in 2022 on the thriving Roundhay Road. In partnership with tsium Software, we led the rebuild of their existing Wix site, preserving the distinctive, image-forward branding and warm aesthetic that makes Koko what it is.
To do the food justice, the client commissioned local professional photographers, and their high-resolution shots of menu items, drinks, and inviting interiors were integrated throughout, setting the tone from the moment you land on the site.
Built on WordPress with Bricks Builder, the site uses CPT UI and Advanced Custom Fields to give the team full control over menus, events, and location content directly from the WordPress admin, including prices and dietary tags. Gift card functionality was added via GiftUp, giving customers a smooth experience for buying and redeeming gifts, a handy feature for a venue with such a loyal following.
The result mirrors House of Koko’s personality: cosy, vibrant, and full of character. It is a platform that handles the day-to-day demands of a busy independent eatery while leaving plenty of room for the brand to keep growing across Leeds.
