This project began with a simple brief from Tobias: make the work the hero. We designed a clean, minimal interface that gets out of the way – quiet typography, generous spacing, and a restrained palette that shifts gracefully between dark and light modes. Subtle micro‑interactions guide the eye: soft fades on image reveals, measured scroll animations, and hover states that feel intentional rather than performative. It’s cinematic without shouting.

Under the hood, Bricks powers a modular system that mirrors the clarity of the design. Custom post types structure productions, credits, and metadata so Tobias can update everything himself, while a numeric display order keeps the lineup precise. Reusable templates, tidy query loops, and site‑wide styles keep the build lean and consistent. The result is a portfolio that reflects the craft of the films it showcases – calm, precise, and quietly confident.
