Streetwise Automotive are a specialist auto servicing and performance centre in Bristol, with particular expertise in tuning software and hardware upgrades for German vehicles. They also provide regular servicing and MOT work for all motorists, and had recently expanded into refurbishing, converting, and retuning camper vans.
The design brief had an interesting tension to navigate: create something modern and technical enough to excite the performance and tuning crowd, while remaining approachable and unintimidating for everyday motorists. The finished site strikes that balance, with a dynamic, visually engaging aesthetic that feels at home in the automotive world without alienating a broader audience.
Built on WordPress, the site gives the Streetwise team direct control over their content, allowing them to upload photos of current refurbs and tuning projects to a dynamic gallery alongside their social media channels. Technical highlights include animated sliders, HTML5 graphs and charts for performance data, and a fully responsive design that looks sharp across desktop, tablet, and smartphone.
The camper van conversion side of the business gets its own dedicated space on the site, reflecting the growing importance of that work to the Streetwise brand and giving it the visibility it deserves.
