Distrikt is a unique, intimate underground bar and club in the heart of Leeds, founded in 2009 in a repurposed basement space. The venue blends speakeasy charm with cutting-edge nightlife, offering free-entry parties almost every night and showcasing some of the most innovative names in electronic and underground music.

Their existing Wix site lacked the flexibility needed to manage a constantly evolving calendar, drinks menus, and table bookings, so in collaboration with tsium Software we rebuilt the site from the ground up on WordPress using Bricks Builder.

The new site uses custom post types and ACF to give the Distrikt team full control over event listings, drinks menus, and booking logistics directly from the WordPress admin. Live drinks menus can be updated instantly to reflect seasonal or promotional changes, while the event listings support rich, searchable entries for weekly DJ sets, terrace parties, and marquee celebrations. Table booking covers everything from casual reservations to group and VIP options.

Throughout the build, preserving Distrikt’s signature aesthetic was a priority. Dark tones, sleek visuals, and immersive photography echo the atmosphere of the venue itself, and the fully responsive design ensures a smooth experience for mobile users checking upcoming events or booking on the go. Video content adds another layer of atmosphere, bringing the energy of the venue to the screen.

tsium provided the engineering expertise and back-end support to make the more complex features reliable and scalable. The result gives Distrikt the creative and operational freedom to run their online presence as confidently as they run their nights.
