Design & Production Workflow
From small brochure style web-sites to large media-rich projects, the development process follows a similar path. An initial contact to discuss client thoughts and ideas for an online presence is essential. This will help both parties to understand the scope of the project in hand. After a general outline of structure, size and suitable technologies, I usually produce a graphical plan of how a site's various elements will meld together into a usable and easily navigable web-site.
Following approval of the project's structure, design concepts will be realised with a series of design mock-ups for client consideration. Next after all structure, navigation and design elements are finalised and suitable content has been provided, the major part of the project takes place. If suitable, the project will be made available online for viewing, which helps encourage client feedback at all stages of development which ultimately results in the project developing the way you want and on time.
